Just to let you know that I’m a pretty normal guy who earns a living on the internet, OK so I know you’ve heard this all before, but here I am and this is my story.

I started out in the weight loss niche market, and let me tell you it was pretty tough to get started. I built my own website from scratch after seeing a video on ‘build your own Mini Site in FrontPage’ ( or something like that, was a good few years ago). Anyhow 3 months later I had a couple of pages and they sucked.

Yep my site sucked big time, I had images that were begged borrowed and stolen, no email and no way to sell (I just could not afford 1 shop cart at the time as I was broke). I suppose this is the usual story for most newbie internet marketers. So what did I do?

At this time in my IM career there were no Mini Site or graphic designing kinda companies around at the right price, the only way to get a great looking Mini Site was to join an affiliate program and use the templates provided, what a headache.

OK, so this is what I did……. NOTHING!

Yep nothing, guess what? That made me NOTHING, No Money, Nada, Zilch, In fact I lost money.

So I made a decision:

I decided to learn what it takes to be the best Mini Site Designer I could be, Let me tell you. It wasn’t easy. To cut a long story short all this was a good few years ago and every day there was a new thing to learn and implement.

The biggest lesson I learned was……. OUTSOURCE! Let me tell you why.

If I had known that my niche weightloss company would be worth over $4000 a month, I would not even question the relatively small outlay required to get a web guy to build my site, sort out the graphics or even upload and manage my updates.

To put this into perspective, Entrepreneurs I now work with put up sites like this every day and earn millions.

I am glad to say that I am now part of the Internet Marketing community and serve up some great converting sites and graphic images, I use this skill for my own projects but my biggest joy is bringing it home for my clients.
